Title: | ac susceptibility of superconductors with geometric barrier | Authors: | Qin, M.J. Ong, C.K. |
Issue Date: | 2000 | Citation: | Qin, M.J.,Ong, C.K. (2000). ac susceptibility of superconductors with geometric barrier. Physica C: Superconductivity and its Applications 341-348 (PART 3) : 1095-1096. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | ac susceptibility of ideal type-II superconductors without vortex pinning is derived for finite thickness samples. The irreversible properties of the superconductors is due to a macroscopic geometric barrier for flux penetration. The ac susceptibility of the sample with geometric barrier shows many features different from that of the sample which is dominated by bulk pinning. © 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
