Abstract: The effects of GaAs substrate temperature on the structure and magnetic properties of MnSb thin films were studied using X-ray diffraction analysis and atomic force microscopy. At substrate temperatures 410 to 490 °C, the crystalline structure remained unchange. The preferential Mn segregation from the grains to the grain boundaries as substrate temperature increases, resulted in the reduction of magnetic coupling between grains.
