Abstract: The measure synchronization of two coupled φ4 Hamiltonian oscillators for both quasiperiodic and chaotic motions was investigated. Certain quantities, such as the bare energies, the interaction energy, and the phase difference, were computed to quantitatively analyze the variations of the system dynamics and statistics. In particular, it was found that while the average bare energy undergoes a discontinuous jump at the critical point, the average interaction energy was continuous and it takes the maximum value at the transition.
