ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||The critical cooling rate for glass formation in Zr66Al9Cu16Ni9 alloy was evaluated to be 4.1 ± 1.0K/s from data obtained by differential thermal analysis compared with predictions between 0.2 and 40K/s from Uhlmann's kinetic model of glass formability. The dependence of viscosity on temperature for the alloy was determined from thermal measurements based on the method developed by Chen. © 1996 A B Academic Publishers.||Source Title:||International Journal of Rapid Solidification||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/96126||ISSN:||02650916|
