ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1039/b812644e | Abstract: | The high reactivity of Group 10 metal-metal bonded complexes towards platinum chalcogenide compounds have been demonstrated through the successful isolation of a number of novel homo- and hetero-polynuclear complexes. A d 8-d9 pentanuclear sulfide cluster with a Pd3 triangle sandwiched by two Pt2 sheaths with peripheral protection from coordinated and pendant pyridyls has been isolated and characterized.
