ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1149/1.3443221||Abstract:||The BiFeO3 (BFO) thin film was doped with CuO (1 mol %), leading to the (100) orientation when deposited on SrRuO3/LaAlO 3(100) substrate by off-axis radio-frequency magnetic sputtering. The CuO-doped BFO thin film retains a high Curie temperature (∼820°C) and possesses a direct bandgap (2.75 eV). A giant remnant polarization of 2P r ∼ 184.7 μC/cm2 and good fatigue endurance are also shown for the CuO-doped BFO thin film. Its frequency dependence of fatigue endurance was correlated with the impedance analysis, confirming the involvement of oxygen vacancies. © 2010 The Electrochemical Society.||Source Title:||Electrochemical and Solid-State Letters||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/86578||ISSN:||10990062||DOI:||10.1149/1.3443221|
