Title: | Multiferroic, optical, and fatigue behavior of BiFeO3 thin films with a sintering aid of CuO | Authors: | Wu, J. Wang, J. |
Issue Date: | 2010 | Citation: | Wu, J., Wang, J. (2010). Multiferroic, optical, and fatigue behavior of BiFeO3 thin films with a sintering aid of CuO. Electrochemical and Solid-State Letters 13 (8) : G68-G70. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1149/1.3443221 | Abstract: | The BiFeO3 (BFO) thin film was doped with CuO (1 mol %), leading to the (100) orientation when deposited on SrRuO3/LaAlO 3(100) substrate by off-axis radio-frequency magnetic sputtering. The CuO-doped BFO thin film retains a high Curie temperature (∼820°C) and possesses a direct bandgap (2.75 eV). A giant remnant polarization of 2P r ∼ 184.7 μC/cm2 and good fatigue endurance are also shown for the CuO-doped BFO thin film. Its frequency dependence of fatigue endurance was correlated with the impedance analysis, confirming the involvement of oxygen vacancies. © 2010 The Electrochemical Society. | Source Title: | Electrochemical and Solid-State Letters | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/86578 | ISSN: | 10990062 | DOI: | 10.1149/1.3443221 |
