Abstract: This letter develops a new fcth-order quadratic learning algorithm, and compares it with the conventional least squares algorithm. It appears that when the order k is appropriately chosen, the algorithm can improve the learning efficiency. Index Terms-Quadratic learning, high-order algorithm, recursive least squares, system identification. © 1997 IEEE.
