Issue Date: | 1989 | Citation: | Ananda, A.L.,Gunasingham, H.,Hoe, K.Y.,Toh, Y.F. (1989). Design of an intelligent on-line examination system. Computers and Education 13 (1) : 45-52. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | An on-line examination system based on multiple choice questions is described for the assessment of aptitude in chemistry. Aptitude is assessed in terms of a student's factual, conceptual and analytical skills at the pre-university level. The examination system is designed around a personal computer-based data base environment. A key feature of the system is its ability to generate a test based on a student's previous performance. Details of the system design and implementation are given and integration of the system within a computer-aided learing environment is discussed. © 1989. | Source Title: | Computers and Education | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/75871 | ISSN: | 03601315 |
