ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||A procedure for tuning simultaneously the primary and secondary controllers of cascade control systems is proposed. The method is based on a single dynamic test (such as a step or pulse change in set point) conducted with both loops closed. Computation of the optimum controller settings from the resulting transients via frequency response is illustrated by means of a simulation example.||Source Title:||Proceedings of the American Control Conference||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/75327||ISSN:||07431619|
