Title: | TUNING OF CASCADE CONTROL LOOPS. | Authors: | Krishnaswamy, P.R. Rangaiah, G.P. |
Issue Date: | 1987 | Citation: | Krishnaswamy, P.R.,Rangaiah, G.P. (1987). TUNING OF CASCADE CONTROL LOOPS.. Proceedings of the American Control Conference : 1158-1160. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | A procedure for tuning simultaneously the primary and secondary controllers of cascade control systems is proposed. The method is based on a single dynamic test (such as a step or pulse change in set point) conducted with both loops closed. Computation of the optimum controller settings from the resulting transients via frequency response is illustrated by means of a simulation example. | Source Title: | Proceedings of the American Control Conference | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/75327 | ISSN: | 07431619 |
