Issue Date: | 2004 | Citation: | Li, J.,Ni, X.,Li, X.,Wang, X.,Zhou, Z.,Leong, K.W. (2004). A novel biodegradable amphiphilic triblock copolymer consisting of poly[(R)-β-hydroxybutyrate] and poly(ethylene oxide) and Its self-association property. Transactions - 7th World Biomaterials Congress : 1178-. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | The synthesis of a new polyethylene oxide (PEO) PHB-PEO triblock copolymers was discussed. It was observed that the resulting triblock copolymers have a strong tendency toward micelle formation in aqueous medium. The micelles formed with the PEO-PHB-PEO triblock copolymers were stable and readily handled. The results show the synthesis of amphiphilic PEO-PHB-PEO triblock copolymers and their micelle formation was unexpectedly found to be thermosensitive. | Source Title: | Transactions - 7th World Biomaterials Congress | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/74818 | ISBN: | 1877040193 |
