dc.description.abstract | The synthesis of a new polyethylene oxide (PEO) PHB-PEO triblock copolymers was discussed. It was observed that the resulting triblock copolymers have a strong tendency toward micelle formation in aqueous medium. The micelles formed with the PEO-PHB-PEO triblock copolymers were stable and readily handled. The results show the synthesis of amphiphilic PEO-PHB-PEO triblock copolymers and their micelle formation was unexpectedly found to be thermosensitive. | |
