Abstract: Ni-NTA functionalized iron oxide magnetic nanoparticle was synthesized and used to selectively immobilize a his-tagged enzyme from cell free extract as an active and recyclable nanobiocatalyst, where purification and immobilization of the target enzyme were accomplished in one pot. © 2011 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
