This approach avoids many of the restrictive assumptions of one-dimensional analytical solutions and better reflects the actual device operation. The gated diode which demonstrates both p-n junction and surface field effect physics is used to illustrate this new approach. | Source Title: | IEEE Transactions on Education | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/62848 | ISSN: | 00189359 | DOI: | 10.1109/13.746335 |
