Title: | DSP-based instantaneous torque control in permanent magnet brushless D.C. drives | Authors: | Low, T.S. Lee, T.H. Lock, K.S. Tseng, K.J. |
Issue Date: | 1991 | Citation: | Low, T.S.,Lee, T.H.,Lock, K.S.,Tseng, K.J. (1991). DSP-based instantaneous torque control in permanent magnet brushless D.C. drives. Mechatronics 1 (2) : 203-229. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | The design, implementation and experimental results of a proposed new instantaneous torque control scheme for the inner loop of a brushless D.C. drive are presented in this paper. The control scheme uses a variable structure strategy and is implemented using a high-performance digital signal processing chip, the AT&T DSP32. The experimental results show that the instantaneous torque control has successfully minimized torque pulsations leading to improved performance in speed, position and static force/torque control applications. © 1991. | Source Title: | Mechatronics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/62062 | ISSN: | 09574158 |
