Abstract: A hybrid technique based on the image theory and integral equation coupled with physical optics approximation is employed to predict the effects of an electrically large three-dimensional dielectric radome on the radiation patterns and input impedance of a dipole array backed by a ground plane. With the hybrid technique, the interaction between the array and the radome is well considered. © 2007 IEEE.
