The polarization-multiplexed downlink unicast and broadcast signals are injected into a polarization-sensitive weak-resonant-cavity Fabry-Perot laser diode for uplink remodulation without polarization control. Transmission performances of downlink unicast and broadcast as well as uplink signals are investigated.
