Abstract: A novel type of one-dimensional microstrip bandstop filters with continuous patterns is proposed based on Fourier transform. These filters are capable of realising single or multiple stopbands at desired frequencies. This design method is simple but powerful, and is confirmed by both simulation and experimental results.
