Abstract: Over the years, India had become an agricultural powerhouse on the back of government policies aimed at food self-sufficiency, and agriculture remained the largest source of livelihoods in India. However, climate change was driving up costs and uncertainty, and farmers in India were especially vulnerable. Could India's argicultural sector adapt successfully to address the climate crisis?
