The study will first provide readers with an overview to the areas related to this study, then delve deeper by providing a quantitative analysis on Citylink Mall performance as a pedestrian link, followed by a qualitative one which will evaluate its retail feasibility. The study concludes with the fact that Citylink Mall has been quite a success in its own right, both as a pedestrian link mall and a retail mall. In addition, underground retail buildings are generally viewed in a positive light, which could mean that a new form of retail development could revitalise the downtown retail scene.
