ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | A study on the incidence of diabetes in the general population in Singapore, was carried out in conjunction with a renal survey in 1971. From the 9883 subjects who participated in the survey, 65 new diabetics were found. Another 44 were known diabetics.
