ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/LCOMM.2014.031614.140171||Abstract:||With directional transmission, 60 GHz wireless personal area networks (WPAN) are capable of providing larger spatial reuse ratio as compared to omni-directional networks. In this work, a device cooperation scheme is proposed to improve throughput of the 60 GHz WPAN that employs spatial reuse. The throughput maximization is formulated as a linear programming problem and an optimal solution is provided. WPAN performance with and without device cooperation is studied via simulations.
