ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1117/12.820970 | Abstract: | Micro/nanomanufactured electromagnetic metamaterials in the THz spectral range may help extending the use of metamaterials in transportation. S-string based THz metamaterials as manufactured by SSLS, in particular, the meta-foil, provide a promising platform for applications. Special emphasis may be given to antennas being conformal or quickly steerable or tunable for inter-traffic communication. Achievements by SSLS in co-operation with MIT and Zhejiang University are discussed and potential applications outlined. © 2009 SPIE. | Source Title: | Proceedings of SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/113056 | ISBN: | 9780819475800 | ISSN: | 0277786X | DOI: | 10.1117/12.820970 |
