Title: | The quotient construction for a class of compact Einstein manifolds | Authors: | McInnes, B. | Issue Date: | Jun-1993 | Citation: | McInnes, B. (1993-06). The quotient construction for a class of compact Einstein manifolds. Communications in Mathematical Physics 154 (2) : 307-312. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1007/BF02096999 | Abstract: | Given any Einstein manifold ME, one can obtain further examples of Einstein manifolds by taking the quotient ME/G by a freely acting, properly discontinuous group of isometries. We study this method in the case in which ME is Kählerian, ME/G is compact, and the Ricci curvature is non-negative. In many cases, the candidates for G can be completely classified. © 1993 Springer-Verlag. | Source Title: | Communications in Mathematical Physics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/104338 | ISSN: | 00103616 | DOI: | 10.1007/BF02096999 |
