dc.description.abstractHyperCard is a widely used hypertext system. It has important hypertext characteristics and possesses a set of powerful user interface capabilities. This paper highlights the important features of HyperCard and discusses its strengths and weaknesses as a technology for building a GDSS. It describes SAGE, a HyperCard-based GDSS, to illustrate how HyperCard capabilities can be incorporated in a GDSS to more effectively support decision making groups.
