Simulation is one of the most powerful analysis tools available for the design and operation of complex processes or systems. In an increasingly competitive world, simulation has become a very powerful tool for the planning, design and control of systems. In recent years, there is a strong revival and advancement in the area of intelligent agents technology in Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and the authors see a strong application of intelligent agents technology in simulation. Hence, this paper attempts to put forward an architecture for performing simulation using intelligent agents technology.
