Abstract: This paper describes a transputer system in which multiprocessors emulate a set of cooperative agents tracking moving objects in the scene. Agents have access to a pyramid image structure to process multi-resolution image segments containing objects of interest. At the same time, agents communicate through a blackboard structure which also provides an instantaneous description of the dynamic scene. © 1995.
