ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1016/S0167-577X(99)00290-6 | Abstract: | Hard- and soft-magnetic ultrafine ferrite powders (BaFe12O19, CoFe2O4 or NiFe2O4) have been successfully synthesized using a combination of coprecipitation and mechanical milling. These ultrafine powders possess excellent magnetic and structural properties. This new preparation method shows significant potential for commercial production of high-quality magnetic ferrite particles, as well as for other nonmagnetic ultrafine powders. | Source Title: | Materials Letters | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/98503 | ISSN: | 0167577X | DOI: | 10.1016/S0167-577X(99)00290-6 |
