|Title:||Surface plasmons studied by the method of recurrence relations||Authors:||Sy, H.K.||Issue Date:||1993||Citation:||Sy, H.K. (1993). It is shown that by matching electromagnetic boundary conditions and solving the recurrence relations for the coefficients of the electric potential in different regions, a general equation can be obtained for the frequencies of all the plasmons under different types of surface discontinuity. Numerical results are shown for six layers with nonidentical surface charge layers.||Source Title:||Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/98139||ISSN:||09538984||DOI:||10.1088/0953-8984/5/36/012|
