Abstract: The quark statistics has successfully described the variation of the ratios π±/p, K±/p and {Mathematical expression} with energy purely statistically and the variation of π-/π+, K-/K+ and {Mathematical expression} with large p T by means of the leading-quark effect. This model is now further enhanced by the p T-dependent strangeness suppression mechanism and recombination effect, so that the characteristics exhibited by the ratios K+/π+, K-/π-, φ{symbol}/π-, p/π+ and {Mathematical expression} could be studied phenomenologically. © 1985 Società Italiana di Fisica.
