Abstract: The preparation of open-tipped carbon nanotubes with a large number of subnanopores with the help of an anodized aluminum oxide template growth was discussed. The measurement of hydrogen storage capacity on the basis of volumetric method was also studied. Enhanced hydrogen storage was held responsible for rough wall surface, opening tips, subnanopores, and opening ends on the wall.
