The growth of napthalene crystals was analyzed to examine pattern transformation and to measure growth rate of the crystals. It was found that particle-induced kinetic roughening was due to the interaction between crystal steps and edge of solid particles which lowered two-dimensional nucleation barrier and suppresed the critical supercooling required for kinetic roughening.||Source Title:||Journal of Chemical Physics||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/96662||ISSN:||00219606||DOI:||10.1063/1.1391256|
