Abstract: The negative binomal distribution (NBD) is used to describe the multiplicity distribution in e+e- annihilation at √s=91 and 184 GeV. Three different methods are used to determine the parameter k in the NBD. The results are compared with one another, as well as with the Krasznovszky-Wagner distribution (KWD).
