ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||The vibrational modes in an acoustic array of SiO2 nanospheres were investigated by studying Brillouin light scattering. The multiple distinct peaks were observed at frequencies that were inversely proportional to the nanosphere's diameter.
