Abstract: High-energy multiparticle production events have been heavily studied using varies models, particularly the QCD-based parton branching model first proposed by A. Giovannini [Nucl. Phys. B 161, 429 (1979)]. Presented here is an asymptotic solution that is the probability distribution by using a simple saddle point approach. Its mechanism and properties will also be elucidated. © 1992 American Institute of Physics.
