The paper describes a programmable digital audio time delay system which uses the 6809 microprocessor to store and retrieve 12-bit samples in RAM. A/D and D/A conversions were accomplished by a 12-bit analogue I/O board for the Apple II microcomputer. A 6809 machine code time delay program, which was run on a 6809 coprocessor board for the Apple II, was able to attain an audio frequency response of over 14 kHz. © 1986.
