Abstract: Depending on the different ligand ratios used, reaction of CuAc 2·2H2O with 2-pyridinemethanol and succinate results in the formation of two coordination polymers: an antiferromagnetic coupled 1D dimer chain and a ferromagnetic coupled 2D 4,82 network. © 2004 Elsevier B.V.
