dc.description.abstract | Reaction of (CF3)2P-N=PPh3(L) with PdCl2 in dichloromethane gives Pd2Cl4[(CF 3)2P=N=PPh3]2, 1 in which L has been shown from spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic analyses to assume an uncharged non-linear electronic structure [Ph3P=N=P(CF 3)2], where the P-N and N-P bonds are equidistant and the PNP segment is highly delocalised. | |
