dc.description.abstract | Several new P/O-functionalized ferrocenyl ligands have been synthesized. They react with Pd2(dba)3 to promote the Suzuki cross-couplings of a range of arylboronic acids and aryl chlorides to give the desired biaryl products in high isolated yields. Different oxidative addition products were isolated and crystallographically identified. Their roles in the catalytic pathways are discussed. © 2006 American Chemical Society. | |
