dc.description.abstractThermodynamic properties and intra- and intermolecular correlation functions of Yukawa hard chains were studied. A first order perturbation theory using hard-sphere chain fluid as reference was used to calculate the compressibility factor of Yukawa chain fluids. Results of Monte Carlo simulations were compared with those of the theory and Statistical Associating Fluid Theory-Variable Range model. The local structure of Yukawa hard chains was found to be affected by the range parameter of Yukawa potential.
