Abstract: A polymer-infiltrated P-S-N diode capacitor is studied for phase shifters that incorporate both Pockels nonlinearity and carrier depletion. At least 269 GHz 3-dB bandwidth with high efficiency of 5.5 V-cm and 5.83 pJ/bit is achievable. © 2011 AOS.
