Issue Date: | 3-Sep-2012 | Citation: | Ding, J., Adeyeye, A.O. (2012-09-03). Ni 80Fe 20/Ni binary nanomagnets for logic applications. Applied Physics Letters 101 (10) : -. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1063/1.4751259 | Abstract: | We demonstrate the functionality of Ni 80Fe 20/Ni binary nanostructures cells fabricated using self-aligned shadow deposition technique in logic applications. Depending on the magnetic ordering of the cells, distinct dynamic states probed by broadband ferromagnetic resonance spectroscopy are realized. We show that the magnetic ordering can be manipulated to achieve logic operations by controlling the amplitude and the orientation of reset fields. Magnetic force microscopy and micromagnetic simulations were used to validate our experimental results. © 2012 American Institute of Physics. | Source Title: | Applied Physics Letters | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/82757 | ISSN: | 00036951 | DOI: | 10.1063/1.4751259 |
