dc.description.abstract | The well-known analysis of the sudden three-phase short circuit on a synchronous machine is based on assumptions which are satisfied by most machines. However, some of the procedures used in the analysis are not sound although the final results are valid. This paper deals with these points, suggesting more rigorous procedures. | |
