dc.description.abstractThe synthesis of a particular class of pipelined IIR digital filter requires the denominator of the z-transform transfer function to be expressed in scattered form. The existing technique for deriving the scattered coefficient values requires finding the zeros of the denominator polynomial. In this correspondence, we present a new approach for deriving the scattered coefficient values that does not require the evaluation of the zeros of the transfer function's denominator polynomial.
