dc.description.abstract | Recently, an iodine containing plasma polymer based on the monomer iodomethane, has been reported indicating that the plasma process can be used to produce iodine-containing plasma polymers. In light of this, the authors began an independent study of generating iodine containing plasma polymers. The results regarding the synthesis of iodine containing plasma polymers derived from the monomer iodobenzene, copolymers with benzene and oxygen plasma treatment on these plasma polymers are presented. A further study of plasma polymers derived from allyliodine is also presented. | |
