Abstract: The electronic structure of aromatic pseudohalides was analyzed using HEI/HEII photoelectron spectroscopy. The various derivatives studied were alkyl pseudohalides, methyl pseudohalides, silicon pseudohalides and halogen isocyanates. The intramolecular reactions between the aromatic ring and the NCX (X = O,S) group were also analyzed.
