Abstract: | In this article, we report the design and synthesis of a group of novel activity-based probes that target different protease sub-classes based on their substrate specificities, rather than their enzymatic mechanisms. The feasibility of our approach has been demonstrated by using representative members of the different protease sub-classes. |
