A two region model is developed for the analysis of indoor transient tests on solar collectors. The plate temperature variation predicted by the model agrees well with test results over a range of fluid flow rates and inlet temperatures. A least square error minimization procedure is used to extract the steady state collector parameters from the transient test data.
