dc.description.abstractFiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) are increasingly used in Singapore and the surrounding region, in particular in repair and strengthening works. This paper presents the current status and potential application of FRP in the region, and discusses the code-related issues, in particular design concepts. Suggestions for a unified code on the structural use of FRP are made.
