dc.description.abstract | This paper summarizes our development and application of lattice Boltzmann method. It covers the development of a platform to design lattice velocity model and its associated equilibrium distribution functions, Taylor series expansion- and least square-based lattice Boltzmann method, simplified thermal lattice Boltzmann model, fractional step lattice Boltzmann model for high Reynolds number flows, lattice Boltzmann models for micro flows and multiphase flows with high density ratio, compressible lattice Boltzmann model, and lattice Boltzmann-immersed boundary velocity correction method.
