|Title:||Nyquist filters with robust performance against timing jitter||Authors:||Farhang-Boroujeny, B.

Conference Record / IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference 2 : 1335-1339. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||In this paper, we propose two novel techniques for designing finite impulse response (FIR) Nyquist filters with zero intersymbol interference, good robustness to timing jitter and satisfactory stop-band performance. The first technique is a special kind of windowing method. The second technique is a minimax method resulting in equiripple FIR Nyquist filters which can be optimally partitioned into a matched transmit and receive filter pair. Examples show superior performance of the proposed pulse shapes compared to the existing techniques.||Source Title:||Conference Record / IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/72814|
